THE IMPORTANCE OF CORALS
Coral reefs are one of the most biodiverse ecosystems on the planet. They represent only 0.1% of the surface of the oceans, yet 25% of marine species depend directly on them. For this reason, corals play such an important role for the oceans and planet Earth.
Rising temperatures and seawater pollution are causing stress to the corals, leading to bleaching, which is a prerequisite for their death.
If we do not act, by 2050 more than 90% of corals will be virtually extinct. To fight against the loss of reefs you can do your bit by adopting a coral and thus be able to recover those areas most damaged by climate change.

Through the fragmentation of the corals, a culture is carried out as a cuttings. The fragments of marine coral are placed in metallic structures located in areas that have the best conditions for their development and growth. After some time, which will depend on each species of coral and the conditions of the environment, the fragments will have grown and will be strong enough to be transplanted to the chosen reef to repopulate and return the marine life of that area.
